Bacon For Supper?

The family took in a newborn piglet because the neighbors sow rejected him. They bottle fed him and he followed them around like a little puppy. They named him Bacon. Friends came over and thought he was just the cutest little thing, Then one evening many months later those same friends came over for supper, They sat down to eat and were enjoying their meal. The hostess told them what they had eaten was Bacon the pig. The friends were a bit appalled, They had gotten attached to the little pig in a short time and couldn't believe that they could butcher him but then again in real reasoning, what were they going to do with a large pig who would eat them out of house and home?
