Required text for anyone with an American Foxhound, a very stubborn breed that is quite affectionate and loyal. This is the best text I have read on the subject, primarily since it is the only one written on the subject. Seller is great.

Surprisingly fine!

In my opinion, this book is worth the price for the history section alone. I have bought other books from this publisher in the past and have not been pleased, and in this case bought the book for the pictures only (which are great!). Either the publisher has raised their standards, or this book is and exception. Much of the material is the same as you would find in any basic dog book, but that is understandable because dog needs are very much the same, regardles of the 'suit' they wear. I wish for more and more in depth information, but for what it is, this book is great.
