15 min alone with God

This book was very uplifting and I really enjoyed it. I felt that my walk with God deepened. I liked that you can skip around and do which ever one you want to do. I did alot of journaling with the thoughts for action. I also liked that it had additional scripture that deals with the same topic.

Uses real life situations to show us God's love

This book has revived my quite time with the Lord. God has used her writings to bring me back to a desire to be with Him everyday for time alone. She uses real life, down to earth situations to show us where God is working and how we can better follow His ways. Excellent book!

This is a wonderful Devotional!

Not only is this a wonderful devotional but it is so inspiring! Emilie includes wonderful tips and ideas for making family times special times! It really does only take 15 minutes "Alone with God" each day to make a difference in your life! Once again to Emilie Barnes I say, Thank you!

Great for Busy Women

This book is a wonderful resource for busy mother's who can't seem to find the time to spend with God each day. If you can begin with 15 min., you may find that you can do more. Each section is short and to the point and is good to use along with a prayer journal, or diary. It has little check boxes at the beginning of each section so that you can mark off a box, reminding you of those that have been read already. Emilie Barnes really gives you a lot to think about. The individual sections range in topics about marriage, parenting, and being a woman of God. At the end of most sections is a sample prayer and some "Thoughts for Action, as well as additional scripture reading. I highly reccomend this book. I have had mine for a couple of years now and it is still very refreshing to use.

The BEST 15 minutes you can ever spend

I have read this book and I still find myself going back through the book. I can not just spend 15-minutes with this book. I often find myself sitting down with this book for 45-minutes to an hour. I can always find answers to all my every day problems. It is amazing the same day we found out that my sisters cancer is under control I read about over coming adversities.. I only hope that everyone who reads her books will be truly blessed as we have been.
