The 10P Program is a cutting-edge rehabilitative program with a host of tools that have been redefining the landscape within the California prison system since 2014. 10P is predicated upon the Theory of Emotional Illiteracy-based Criminality which posits that no one is born bad, rather people adopt criminality as a coping mechanism for unprocessed traumas. Informed by the phenomenological experience of former lifer prisoner who served 24 years, Sam Brown it covers a targeted set of pillars critical to rehabilitation and prosocial development including, but not limited to: Interpersonal Communication, Intrapersonal Communication, Decision Making, Cell Phone Addiction, Peer Pressure, Prioritizing, Public Speaking, Setting Educational Goals, and more...THE BRAIN Project was created long before Covid-19, on a Maximum-Security Level IV 180 to provide rehabilitative programming for individuals who were precluded from participating in a group format based on housing restrictions, medical or mental health needs, disciplinary infractions, or just the Un comfortability that came along with sitting amongst a group of strangers for the first time and delving into the traumas and Adverse Childhood Experiences that surreptitiously develop into the adopting of criminality as a coping mechanism. The 10P Program holds firm to the maxim that "There are more people in prison than there are incarcerated." Therefore, our curriculums are not just of benefit to people in physical prison, but also to those inside of emotional, mental, socio-economic, and other forms of prison as well.
