A waterfront lawn party. For inventor Pam Nash, it's the launch of Zappa, her "Taser for pacifists." For Lydia Vivaldi and Mudge Miles, it's a posh catering job. But when a guest turns up dead, it's artist Edgar Rowdey's cue to turn sleuth.
I'm loving CJ Verburg's Edgar Rowdey Cape Cod Mysteries!

I was immediately roped into CJ Verburg's Cape Cod mystery series because of the colorful characters who we get to know more in each mystery - especially the eponymous sleuth who is modeled after Verburg's friend the late, brilliant writer and theater artist Edward Gorey. I liked the steady pace of the plots and the witty banter, often causing me to erupt in loud chuckling! These are real gems and I sure hope she keeps going with this cast of characters and brings us more stories. (But how many murders can Cape Cod endure? As Edgar Rowdey would say, "Poor bunnies!")
