Thank you sooo much. I love this series, and it was totally awesome!

Yellow is a perfect BL title!

I LOVE this manga! I can barely wait to read the end. The author has very well-drawn men... and the main characters are totally captivating. And I have to admit I have a thing for cute BOYS, so since there are so many of them in this manga, it's probably another reason why I love it even more. Goh's ex, for example, is a real cutie! And guess what's Taki's reaction! In volume 02, a new and interesting character is introduced, who kinda looks like Sukisyo's Matsuri... and just as infuriating, so to say. A great sequel to volume 1... neither volume let me down so far. I'm highly expecting volume 3, which should be out soon, to be EVEN better! A recommended title, and I really like this publisher, so there are hardly problems with the translation & co!

Ideal Yaoi

This series is my ideal yaoi, no comparison. I can only speak for the second volume, but it really doesn't matter what the other two books are like, this one just rocks so much. If you like yaoi, it's definitely worth getting. The best part is the art, the dialogue is ok, (eg. Taki: "You bring men here all the time." Goh: "Men are okay!! I'm a man, you're a man, this is a castle of men!!!"), and the story is, well, it's not the most important thing. Ok, I'll admit, it's a bit of a stretch that these two guys are partners in some weird agency, that they're living together, and that one of them is gay and the other straight (supposedly). But seriously, I would be willing to accept anything for these two. What great yaoi love!

Terrific!

This Yaoi series just keeps getting better. Its plot is similar to Fake but lighter in tone. Goh and Taki are simply gorgeous. In Volume 2, more emphasis is placed on their relationship. Will Taki finally give in ? Is there any reason for his reluctance, which we hope to find out in Volume 3 ? One comical yet serious question posed by Taki if he is to give in to Goh is: will he be the woman or is Goh the woman in their love making? After all this is Yaoi and the answer is relevant and important. Looking forward to Yellow Volume 3. Do yourself a favor and get this series.

Taki and Goh are back in business!

Volume two of this interesting yaoi series does not disappoint. If you liked volume one, you're gonna like volume two, definitely. While Taki is "starting" to come around to his feelings for Goh (he actually admits, at least to himself in this one, that he loves him), he is still stubbornly clinging to the notion that he is exclusively heterosexual. There are three main stories ("acts") in this volume, as well as an extra story at the end called Kiss & Gin & Cigarette where the two men share a drink and a smoke one night when neither can sleep (hmm... wonder why they can't sleep...). The first act focuses on the appearance of the loud annoying comic relief character to the story, Kanji. In the bar that Kanji works at he believes there is some kind of cocaine den, but he can't seem to find the drugs, so he hires the yellow boys to help straighten out the manager to the "ills" of drug use. And, yes, he sticks around afterwards. You just can't get rid of obnoxious characters like that. The second act is a slight change of pace. Instead of snatching drugs, they are hired to find some guns, and are led to a male escort with a Fueng Shui complex. Things get a little dicey in this one after Goh gets injured because of a mistake Taki makes. And finally, the third act focuses on the appearance of Goh's old partner, who insists he is looking to get back into the business with the snatchers by helping them on their latest marijuana search; though there is something going on beyond that, and Taki's rising discomfort and memories of his past leave him very vulnerable in one particular scene (with Goh) of note. If you want all the juicy details, you'll just have to pick this volume up and find out. Now for the warning. Yellow is a yaoi series, and while in structure much the same as the series most easily associated with it, FAKE (which is mostly tame shonen-ai with only one mildly graphic scene at the end of volume 7), there are a lot more graphic and adult oriented situations throughout. Not recommended for anyone under the age of 18.
