The ideal primer for WarCraft Lore

It should be noted that this book was published when the newest World of WarCraft expansion was Mists of Pandaria. Seven expansions have since been released and although some of this information is a tad outdated, the vast bulk of it is still very much valid and informative. This book covers World of WarCraft's lore and history, providing an excellent overview of the World of Azeroth and its denizens. It covers the War of the Ancients, the Sundering, the various races and many of their key and major figures, major threats, factions, and even provides a much needed timeline as to the sequence of major events up to Mists of Pandaria. And as is typical of 2010s era WarCraft, the artwork in this book is fantastic and detailed. There is also a short section at the end that is a "Behind the Scenes" and covers Blizzard Entertainment and their origins/history up to the time of Mists of Pandaria. So whether you're a WoW Lore Junkie or you're new to Azeroth altogether, this book is worth having.
