Working capital in a transforming economy

This study is aimed at finding out how the working capital functions and is used in the conditions of transforming economy in its transition to market relations. The role of working capital in the processes of development of economic and entrepreneurial activity is revealed. The article defines how the composition and sources of financing of working capital of enterprises are formed in the modern economy, how the efficiency of their use is assessed. The peculiarities of formation of working capital, the structure of current assets and the state of their use at the stage of formation of market economy are revealed. The ways and methods of effective use of working capital are substantiated.
