Anyone who's listened to George Noorie on Coast to Coast Am radio at night would love reading his book! This is just more of a good thing! Fast delivery too!

If You Enjoy Paranormal Biographies -- You'll Like This book

I just finished reading "Worker in the Light" by George Noory and I've got to say - if you're the least bit interested in the reading about the paranormal - and you enjoy reading biographical material -- this might be a good book for you. George is well known as the host of America's top late-night radio talk show, Coast to Coast AM (where a diverse array of educated and then seemingly-brain-dead listeners call in to talk about anything that's NOT main stream media; they talk about ghosts, vampires, astral travel, sasquatch sightings, alien abductions and more). In contrast . . . the book has very little to do with the Coast to Coast radio show - so if you're expecting "expert interviews" with reputable resources working in the paranormal you might be disappointed. Instead -- "Worker in the Light" shares Noory's very personal experiences with paranormal and psychic phenomena, and while he also quotes outstanding and reputable resources, most of this book is about how he has gone on his own journey toward finding greater wisdom and universal truth. The book is easy to read and I am still marveling at how readily George admits he's toyed with thoughts from the negative side -- even used dark thoughts to see if he could manipulate others. He learned a valuable lesson from such experiments (the negative energy came back to haunt him) and that's largely the reason behind his motivation for working in the light these days. I felt this book was a very honest look at one man's journey toward self empowerment and the reader picks up a whole lot of "how to" tips along the way (such as learning how to enjoy much more vivid and significant dreams, how to astral travel, how to use your mind for the benefit of all of society). Noory quotes many reputable sources for his findings and presents a number of compelling ideas for self empowerment. He gives examples of how he asked listeners of the Coast-to-Coast radio show to focus their intention on the same phenomena and then he documents the results of that collective though process. If you enjoy reading biographies, you will feel this was a worthwhile book about a man who is very sensitive and and on the cutting edge of paranormal research!

Enjoyable & enlightening read

I listen to George Noory and Art Bell via streamlink & sometimes radio. I have listened to the program since 1998 & also enjoyed Art Bell's "The Quickening: Today's Trends, Tomorrow's World." Mr. Noory's book puts the spirit of Coast to Coast AM in print not in the shadow of Art Bell but in his own unique style and spirituality. I believe the human species is destined to inherit a greater manifest destiny and this book, with George Noory's folkish narratives of his own spirituality, can serve the reader to unlock his or her potential. This book labors to assist the human generator to free itself of its limitations and live a spiritual life. These gifts of intuition, clairvoyance, clairaudience, prophecy, remote viewing, channeling, necromancy, divination, and so many others discussed on Coast to Coast AM ANY of us can do and learn...if we unlock our true potential. Spirituality is innate in the human genome. Readers should use this book and George's instructions as a guide to develop a psychic 'physique,' and live a magical life while "working in the light." Worker In the Light Audio CD Set

This review deals with the audio version of the book involving a compilation of George Noory's life experiences that teach by example. Growing up in a conservative family of dentists, he was not destined to walk in their footsteps. Perhaps influenced by his aunt, he pursued a life full of spiritual adventures and events. He conveys, in a down to earth manner, how his choices have not always been positive. However, he seems to have learned from his mistakes and encourages others to follow the light, positive path as what goes around truly does come around. This work touches a combination of spiritual and scientific bases melding both in a way that will probably be more generally accepted by the masses in the future. I prefer audio CDs to book versions, especially if narrated by the author, as I get a lot out of the vocal intonations. Because Mr. Noory is a veteran, professional, radio personality, he is particularly adept at using his voice effectively. It adds greater dimension to the work. I enjoyed listening to this CD series, absorbed some important insights, and highly recommend it.

Awesome Book! Inspirational! George Noory Rules!!!

When I first purchased this book my expectations were low. What a pleasent surprise and a great read this book turned out to be. The sub-title is "Unlock Your Five Senses And Liberate Your Limitless Potential", I think it should be called "Unlock Your "SIX" Senses And Liberate Your Limitless Potential". George Noory explains his own experiences with positive thinking and teaches the reader how to practice positive thinking techniques that will utimately bring you good fortune and a new, healthy lifestyle. This book is very inspiring and I highly recommend anyone who is interested in unlocking the power of positive influence to enhance their health and life to pick this book up! Thanks for the great read George Noory, and keep up the great work hosting Coast To Coast AM every weeknight! =)
