Cried like a baby!

The first few paragraphs of this book really grab you and it doesn't let you go. I thought I would have to call the family and talk with them personally after reading their stories. I truly did believe by the end of the book that they were friends and even neighbors. I know that so many people hurt and go through the same things. I even related to some of the events for my granddaughter's sake. It just makes me feel great to know that people will share their feelings and not worry what others will say. The face on this dog is unbelievable. I have seen her on so many shows lately even a PBS special where she was shopping and going to public places with a little vest which means that they took the time to make Faith a service dog as well. This is really to be commended. I can think of NO better present for a gift than the gift of encouragement.

Wow! This is a great book.

This is book is so amazing. I bought it after I saw Jude and Faith on the Montel Show in Feburary. Her story inspired so much that I rushed out to the bookstore but couldn't find the book. It's online through the publisher or other stores. The book is full of stories about the family and about their struggles to beat a legal system after Stringfellow's kids were kidnapped and tortured by her ex-husband. After winning full custody, and crying my eyes out...the book contined to tell how the family got Faith and how they worked together to bring her to the point that she would be able to survive in a dog-eat-dog world. The heart wrenching stories are balanced by the heart warming tales about the dog's faith and courage to become a normal dog and how God helped the family to help her achieve her goals. Really, bring a box of tissues with you.You will laugh, and you will cry, but mostly you will want to love your own family more and forever!

Unbelievably Great Book!

I bought the book because I have a disabled dog. Smoochy has 2 good front legs but only 1 back leg. Faith's story of survival was so touching and so interesting that I bought the book for myself and several other copies to give as gifts from Smoochy. I wanted to show the world that I was not going to give up on her and this book helps me say that with confidence. The stories about Faith are right out the movies, and the stories about the author make you laugh when she tells you about raising three very different kids, and then you cry when you feel like you are part of her family. She talks to you like you're sitting on her couch having coffee! Get this book!

You won't believe your eyes

With a Little Faith is such a moving story about a family's love that you won't believe you could laugh and cry so much. I read books for a living and I know that this book is destined to become not only an Oprah favorite, but your favorite too. Please get this book, and buy one for a friend who needs that extra push. The author is one survivor, and she instilled that trait not only into her family, but into the little dog Faith as well. This book is a blessing.
