If you want to take the game seriously, start by reading this book.

If you want cheat sheets and team / player predictions, go buy a magazine and good luck! You'll be like just about every other square drafting. You'll be on your way to becoming a "shark" after reading a book of this quality. Sometimes you need to go back to the basics. This book is one of the initial must have tools prior to drafting. It's fun and fast paced to read. I read this book TWO years ago when I got back into fantasy football after a 13 year hiatus. (...just wish I bought the book THREE years ago before I finished in last place.) After reading the book and learning how to use research, I've finished 2nd and then 1st in a money league. Granted, luck was part of my placed finishes. However, one does get lucky by putting him/herself in position for luck. When Nover wrote the book, the game was changing to what it is today. We have more RBBCs and passing plays than before. While the author does touch upon this topic, it should be updated based on the historic 2007 season. The draft strategy chapter is excellent. It also has sections on auction leagues and mock drafts. Anyway, isn't it time for a new edition Mr. Nover ?
