This book pays for itself

I'm a small business IT consultant very used to SBS 2003. The first few chapters of this book really laid out what I needed to know re installing SBS 2008. It's easy to read and easy to find everything. The book paid for itself by keeping me from having to research every little new thing while doing my first SBS08 install. It also paid for itself when I added a surprise Mac to a client's SBS08 network in just a few minutes using the instructions provided. If I could only have one SBS08 book, this would be it.

Excellent Book, very helpful!

I just setup our new SBS 2008 domain and the process was very straightforward, thanks to this book. The information is laid out clearly, every step is detailed, tons of information and easy to follow even for someone who hasn't administered a network before. Definitely recommended!

SBS 2008

I found this book very useful. I got it after I did an install of SBS 2008 for a client... I went back and did some fine tuning after the install. I did feel the need to get references for IIS 7 and Server 2008, but you can't have all this in one book. I work with SBS 2003 on a daily basis and I found I liked SBS 2008 better than I thought I would. Highly recommend as a reference.

SBS 2008 Unleashed

I am preparing for an implementation of a new SBS 2008 environment at one site, and an upgrade from SBS 2003 at another site. This book has provided a great outline for planning the implementation. There is a good balance of technical information and readability. Some of the best practices tips gave me the nudge to go back and review things that I should be managing better in our current SBS 2003 environment. Well worth the price!
