wonderful

If you search shelves for civil war era books, this is a keeper. It's a steady read, rich with history and rich with indepth looks at the people of the era. What they think and feel as they proceed with this horribly devastating time. I don't own it, it was a library read......but will buy one for my keeper shelf! I wish there were a sequel as I would like to know what happened to various characters........
