One book every woman needs to read

Since one in every seven women will be faced with the threat of breast cancer we will need these lovely heartfelt words to help us through or give us the tools to help our friends. This book puts it all into perspective and lightens the load. Extremely well written and puts a smile in one's heart. I wish I would have had this book when I went through my ordeal with breast cancer.

A read worth consideration

Cancer always proves to be an enigma as it affects some people more seriously than others. "What If You Could Skip the Cancer?" is a Christian health guide discussing cancer and what one can do to face it well. Encouraging faith in God's plan and other lessons to help readers, she draws upon her own wisdom and experience in dealing with cancer so it may be passed onto the reader. For any Christian pondering how to deal with cancer, "What if You Could Skip the Cancer" is a read worth consideration.

Explores the mind's connection to the body

This book is very timely, given the national debate on health care. The author's experience not only makes a strong argument for preserving the options of treatment outside of conventional medicine, but reminds us forcibly that the first step in preventing disease is to avoid unreasoned fear and morbid fascination with symptoms. The evidence that the mind controls the body, thus while treating bodily ills we have to cure mental states that allow disease, will be a challenge to most of us, but I found in reading the book to its conclusion that the argument hangs together.

Fantastic!!!

This is a life-changing book, and not just for those who have or are at risk for cancer. It seemed that it was written about me! This is about knowing who you are, and living your truth instead of being what everyone else wants you to be. I highly reccomend it for everyone. It is interesting and very readable. I intend to buy more copies to give to some of my friends.
