Easy read that will leave you wanting more!

Once I got a short way into this book and learned about the characters, I loved what I was reading and couldn't put it down. It is a wonderful and surprising love story that everyone can relate to in one way or another. There is a strong sense of family, love, and faith in this book. The characters have a great sense of humor, which makes for an enjoyable read. The author brings these characters to life and it's as though you've know them for a long time by the end of the book. This is a great book that will leave you wanting more. I'm excited to see what is to come from this wonderful and talented author.

Watermellon Fall

I finally found the time to read this moving love story. I only wish I would have read it sooner. It truly moved me to tears and is one which I will cherish forever. I will read it again and again. Anyone who wants to read a true love story should pick this one up. It is a classic and will be around for a long time. It is a quick read and a short story, but it is one that will be remembered forever. One could almost believe that it truly happened the way it was depicted. I put it right up there with stories like Romeo and Juliet, The Way We Were, Pretty Woman, My Fair Lady, etc. I can't wait for the movie to come out!!!

Watermellon Fall is a Sweet Surprise

Watermellon Fall is a sweet surprise, a quick read and one I could not put down, once into the progression of the story. I think many may identify with this improbable love story and, if they haven't experienced "a great love in their life", will have the belief reinforced that this kind of love is indeed possible. I probably would not have come in contact with this story if I hadn't gone to high school with the author and learned of his book these many years later. Indeed, it was not written to the romance novel formula but is a story of love in many forms that moved me to tears. I recommend it highly.

This story was written by my professor at Hillsborough Community College. I not only finished it in 2 days, I took it into class and had him sign it. It was a very deep moving story and to only find out it was true. I cried at the end. Excellent excellent excellent.
