Walters' World: His Comic Postcards, His Art

Walters' World is a book devoted to the comic postcards of Ray Walters, perhaps the most prolific cartoon postcard artist of the 20th century. Walters' cards were drawn back in the 1930s and '40s, and all of his known cards (over 500 of them) are reproduced here in full color on thick, archival-quality paper. This sturdy hardcover book w/ dustjacket is perfect bound. Index is included. An innovative "picture index" of Walters' cards is included to aid the serious collectors in identifying their postcards. This book serves both as a serious reference book and a handsome coffee table book. This description may be from another edition of this product.
