I was immediately drawn into the plot after only the first few pages. Ms Feldbush holds ones attention with her mezmerizing style of writing. As the story unfolded my faith in humanity to hold fast to what is right and just in the face of danger was renewed and strengthened. I am looking forward to her next book.

Ms. Feldbush has written a wonderful, multifaceted novel. Containing elements of a mystery, romance, character study and inspirational novel, I throughly enjoyed Walking in the Midst. I could hardly tear myself away as the suspense and mystery unfolded. With a unique historical back-drop of a furniture business in Victorian times, Ms. Feldbush paints a vivid and richly descriptive picture, not only of the setting, but of the characters' interactions and their evolving emotions - I found myself laughing and crying along with the characters as the plot developed. I highly recommend the book!

Walking in the Midst

Walking in the Midst by Nancy Feldbush is a powerful story about the compassion and tension of family love. Ms. Feldbush has created characters rich in detail and depth--their personalities are well defined and reflected in their responses to the situations developed within the story. The historical background creates a canvas upon which the characters interact and the mystery surrounding the story kept me on the edge of my chair. I highly recommend this book to lovers of historical romance with an underlying mystery. Written in the same format as Victoria Holt's books.
