What is more fun than a grandparent igniting and encouraging a grandchild's imagination?

The Violet M. Powers middle grade reader series is designed and written to do that very thing, both in the story and by reading the stories. While I hope these are read and enjoyed by everyone, they are meant to be read by a grandparent to a grandchild. (Or the other way around).

The Main character "Violet M. Powers" lives the adventures and lessons that coincide with the stories she is told. Strong life lessons (empathy, self-esteem, growth mindset, leadership) but not too preachy. My hopes are to help teach children that reading and learning are an experience that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.

In this story there are twists and turns, good guys and bad, adventures and history all culminating are every child's wildest dream come true. My wildest dream is to strengthen the bonds between grandparent and grandchild. Just imagine what your grand children could do or be with the lessons you have spent a lifetime learning?
