Vietnamese folk tales are a treasure trove of cultural heritage that holds immense value. Crafted by the Vietnamese people from ancient times, these stories possess a folkloric charm that is approachable, intimate, and easily accessible to everyone. The narratives vividly reflect the lively lives and culture of the Vietnamese people. Many stories explain the existence of certain objects or phenomena, such as the tales of "Bánh Chng, Bánh Dy," "Sn Tinh, and Thy Tinh." Meanwhile, others impart moral lessons about human philosophy, the essence of life, and karmic repercussions, exemplified in stories like "Thch Sanh - Lý Thông" and "Tm Cám." All these stories convey at least one message that we should appreciate and preserve. This is an invaluable legacy, a vibrant and rich heritage that our ancestors have distilled over thousands of years in building and safeguarding the nation. It is my hope that each of us will find joy, happiness, and a deep appreciation for the precious traditional values passed down by our forefathers.
