Laugh out loud funny!

I received this book as a birthday gift-I won't disclose my age but let's just say it's over 45. I laughed so much when i read it that I was actually glad to be a Victoria Reject! A great gift for someone who likes to laugh and can laugh at herself.

Laugh out loud funny! Victoria's Rejects is filled with zany and ingenious antidotes to our aging dilemmas. Read it alone or with a group of friends and you'll howl. It's a great book to share with other middle aged divas! Read and Enjoy.

Utterly Hysterical!

I cannot believe this book isn't being more powerfully marketed - it has HUGE potential! I highly recommend it, and I don't recommend books very often (as everyone's preferences are so different). Excellent quality, perfect as an anti-depression or over-the-hill gift... or just to brighten your own day. Buy this book, you won't regret it. Even men crack up at the product descriptions & photos. My personal favorite products are the skin clips (p. 4), young body decal (p. 11), and the construction crew motivational tape (p. 45).

Hysterical, irreverent book for readers over 40

I loved this book. It is is one of the funniest I have ever read. I showed it to a couple of my "middle-aged" friends and we were literally roaring with laughter. The book brilliantly and humorously addresses the body and mind "deterioration" that most middle aged women experience; in so doing, it reassures us all that these are "normal" aspects of aging and that we are not alone in suffering them. Whether its cognitive fuzziness, memory deficits, sagging body parts or hot flashes, "Victoria's Rejects" tells it like it is. What a breath of fresh air to have these often touchy subjects treated so openly and humorously.

Growing Older, Gracefully???

This is an absolutely delightful and hilarious book. It's for every woman to read. It makes you realize you're not alone in that very, very warm room, and that your mirror CAN and DOES lie, not just sometimes, but all the time.. Ms. Altman, and Ms. Lazar hit the nail on the head and their book, Victoria's Rejects, does so with humour.
