The Cross Crew goes Flip or Flop

The Cross crew, one of the more merciless, relentless and fierce gangs in Chicago gangland is now trying its hand in one of the more cutthroat businesses in the country if not the modern world: real estate. It began as a member of the crew's wife asking for a house to do some gardening, then another's wife coming to see about purchasing houses. Soon the crew endeavors to do their own version of gentrification on the neighborhood, scaring away gangs, predators, and others involved in unsavory activities. Vachss makes a great crime read, each character unique and captivating to the reader that'll have you begging for more.
