Undercover angel, midnight fantasy

Undercover police officer Angel Morelli is investigating a drug ring but she's hit a snag: she's fallen head over heels for her handsome history teacher, Jake Weston, who's shaping up as a prime suspect in the investigation. Jake has noticed Angel as well, and wonders if she's the one who can make him believe in happy endings. The book also features Sal Tucci (aka the Crow), who is also featured in her novel "Judging Sara". Sal and Angel are working together. There's usually one nonbeliever and this time it's Jake's on-again, off-again girlfriend Amanda. Rutledge does create some two-dimensional characters here, but Amanda is a one-dimensional atheistic character who doesn't really do much. Her plot involves the trafficking of meth in a small suburban town and her handling of this subject is good. There's a terrific subplot on the subject of forgiveness that's interwoven with the drug ring plot and is also handled very well. The "age difference" between Jake and Angel is amusing at first. However, I grew up with a Christian girl who, at 19, married a 27 year old, so it didn't seem that farfetched to me. It only seems odd from the teacher/student perspective.

gotta love those romance storys

This book is is cute heartwarming the usual. I borrowed this book from a friend because it sounded alot like a movie I had seen when I was like seven called never been kissed. Anyway I read And of course it was exactly what I had expected warm insperational and all that. But most of all it made me remember and miss the 90s going to the pool all the tim being care free watching lifetime movies enjoying warm and sunny weeekends being with my friends some of them I had known since preschool all the good music full house reruns yup those were the good old days and thats exactly why I love this book! PS. if you like the book undercoverangel try the movie the little girl who used to be in the welches grape juice commercials is in it. That movie also remind me of the 90s(sigh)good times, well goodbye.

Undercover Love

Angel is a twenty-six-years-old, but with a very little work can pass for a teenager. That comes in handy, because Angel is a cop. She is undercover in a high school trying to bust a drug ring. One of the prime suspects is teacher, Jake Weston. Angel is really pushing him. She flirts with him and acts like a teenager with a crush around him. The problem is she does have a crush on him.Jake has seen problems with drugs at the school he teaches at. He is not sure what to do when he learns that Angel Morelli, one of the seniors is actually the same age as him. Perhaps she is involved in the problem. He watches her carefully, but at the same time is having a harder and harder time fighting his attraction to Angel, especially now that he knows she is old enough that it isn't illegal for him to date her.Something big is about to break and Angel's going to be in the middle of it.

Undercover Angel

I thoroughly enjoyed Undercover Angel because it has a great plot involving a very savy, albeit very young looking undercover cop, and a high school teacher/coach dedicated to his profession and the kids in his school. Sparks fly when Jake Weston finds himself attracted to the spunky, audacious new student in his class, and it rattles his cage, big time. He is too honorable to allow those feelings to continue toward a student, and yet---Angel Morelli has a few mature pearls of wisdom to pitch here and there. Is she who she says, just a tough foster kid from Trashtown, or is she someone entirely different? Is she involved in the suspected drug dealing in the school? Jake needs to find out before his heart lands him in deep trouble, both professionally and emotionally. The book is a great read, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys inspirational fiction.

Wonderful story!
