Street Theatre from your armchair

"...there was the flash of a chisel-tip, just a hand's breadth from my face, then I crashed into the shelves, which juddered. Jars of nails, paint cans, and nameless toolshed things were raining down on me..." Philip Gross has that rare gift of combining poetic writing with both excitement and contemporary street-cred. Using living statue street theatre is an original framework which neatly illustrates the dangers of all cults everywhere, and the vulnerability of adolescents on the run from unpleasant situations at home. Whenever I see an immobilist now, I have a little shiver and ask myself - who's watching whom?
