True Blue - a Favorite!

True Blue is one of my FAVORITE SVJH books! In this book Blue Spiccoli gets anew social worker, who decides to check up on him since his grades are like TOTALLY AWFUL! So Blue joins practiclly every SVJH club IN THE SCHOOL to make-up for his bad grades.At the same time he is TOTALLY annoying Liz for being super cautious while she's starting to mellow out! Also... Bethel knows a SECRET about Lacey and it's making her miserable! Will Bethel tell to WHOLE SCHOOL? Read and find out in TRUE BLUE. C-ya

good book!

SVJH is one of my favorite series and this is another great book in it. In this book we get to know Blue Spiccoli, one of those slacker-type people, who decides to shape up FAST when he heard that their social worker is coming by to check up on him. Blue and his older brother Leaf (funky names!) are orphans and Leaf is Blue's legal guardian. He makes video games for a living and is also the coach of the unpopular SVJH volleyball team, which Elizabeth joins. Because of that Blue and his friends get to know Elizabeth (and Blue develops an interest in Liz). They hang out at the Spiccoli house for pizza and to test video games---basically to have fun. For a while Blue and Elizabeth rub off on each other and Liz forgets to do her homework and comes home late without permission. Blue starts joining every club in school he can to show the social worker that yes, Leaf takes care of him just fine. Towards the end Blue and Liz have a heated argument about the other being too uptight or too slack, but they make up soon after, and consider each other good friends. It is also in this book where the school carnival Kristin Seltzer has planned for so long finally happens. There are things going on with Kristin and her boyfriend, Brian, and Bethel finds out a little something about Lacey, but that I'll let you read about. :)

BLUE SPICCOLI. EVERYONE SAYS HE HAS THE PERFECT LIFE, BUT DOES HE REALLY? BOTH HIS PARENTS ARE DEAD, AND HE LIVES ON THE BEACH, WITH HIS OLDER BROTHER. BLUE HAS TO ADMIT HE HAS THE BERNASASITIES. THAT IS UNTIL THE SURPRISE CALL FROM THE SOCIAL WORKER COMES. SOMEHOW THEY FOUND OUT ABOUT BLUE'S SLIPPING GRADES, AND WANT TO COME AND CHECK UP ON HIM. BLUE HAS TO WORK TO KEEP UP HIS GRADES. THAT MEANS NO MORE LATE NIGHT PARTIES, AND DEFINATELY NO MORE "MELLOWING" OUT. ALL THE UPTIGHTNESS LEADS TO YELLING, AND GETTING IN A FIGHT WITH THE GIRL OF HIS DREAMS ELIZABETH WAKEFIELD. BUT BLUE HAS TO DO SOMETHING OR ELSE HE'S GOING TO BE PUT IN A FOSTER HOME, INSTEAD OF LIVING WITH HIS LEGAL GUARDIAN HIS BRO. WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO BLUE? WILL HE BE SENT TO LIVE WITH A FOSTER HOME OR WITH HIS BIG BROTHER? FIND OUT IN TRUE BLUE!

A must read for all SVJH fans!

I absolutely LOVED this book and think you will, too. Blue wasintroduced in the last book, but this tells a lot about him. Blue is a"mellow" type that lives with his bro, Leaf, but they just recently got a new social worker, and she didn't like the way Blue handled schoolwork. So, since Blue has to straighten up, he acts different and makes Elizabeth mad, but it comes out great at the end. Sorry, I won't tell any more, you have to buy the book, but I strongly recommend it to any of you!

Amazing!

Blue has always been so mellow, that is until he found out thathis new social worker FOUND out that he was having trouble inschool. His best grade is a C! Now he is joining every club under the sun(Math club, Spanish club, Carnival committe.....ect.....) AND IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO LOOK GOOD FOR HIS SOICAL WORKER HE HURTS, AND ANGERS ELIZABETH! And while all this is occuring BETHEL FINDS OUT A SECERET ABOUT LACEY, SOMETHING THAT COULD RUIN LACEY'S LIFE! This is a must read for any Sweet Valley Fan! END
