Hope for the bereaved

A lovely and poignant story that brought tears to my eyes.Recommended by my daughter who was also touched by this story. A wonderful read for anyone dealing with the loss of loved ones. Particularly pertinent for clergy.

It seems unreal that one single family could be touched with such pain and come out of it triumphantly! As you read her account of loss after loss in the span of over twenty years you sense all along a strength that is far beyond human, and it is; because it is not humanly possible to endure such painful challenges without an unequally strong and amazing faith. Joyce re-defines the meaning of possible and impossible, and also re-defines the meaning of faith because she lives her faith every day with amazing courage. She takes the challenges head on, and she asks her God to carry her when she can't possibly take any more steps on her own. To anyone who has ever suffered the loss of a spouse, a child, a grandchild, a parent, or a friend this book will be inspiring and uplifting.
