Cool book!

This is a great book! The story is about a girl named Jody McGrath, whose parents study dolphins in a project called Dolphin Dreamer. Her parents are visiting CETA, a dolphin therapy center for special needs children. There Jody meets Lauren, the daughter of CETA's owners. Jody and Lauren rescue a little boy named Hal Davis from drowning. Hal is autistic (he has trouble communicating) but when Jody suggests Hal could go to CETA, his mother acts nervous and says no. Later Jody and Lauren meet Gavin Davis, a millionare and Hal's father. Mr. Davis explains the last Dolphin therapy center had badly treated dolphins. But CETA is not like that, so he makes an appointment for Hal. Hal makes a special bond with Rosie, Lauren's favorite dolphin. But Rosie goes out the sea gate and doesn't come back. How does it end? You have probably guessed, but I'll leave it a secret anyway. By the way, they don't really freak out when she dissapears. Lauren is sad, and her father is dissapointed because one less dolphin means more work, but they understand that Rosie will come back if she wants to. Are you still here? Get the book!

One in a Million!

Anybody that sees this book might find it kind of boring. Think again. This is one of the best books that Ben M. Baglio has written. At first when I started to read this book I thought it was going to be boring, but when I got to the end of chapter one, it was so good I could not put it down. I think it is one of the best book I have ever read.

Ratings from a reader

This is a very good book for not just younger children but older children also. I should know because I am Thirteen years old. I have read the first and second books in the Dolphin Diaries series and can't wait to read the Riding the Storm.
