HOT HOT HOT

Since there is a description of the book and others have written about it also, I'll skip that and just say: This book is so hot it will scorch the eyes right out of your skull! What a pleasant surprise. I have never read anything by this author and ordered it on a whim (desperate for something good to read). The description intrigued me enough and am I ever glad I took a chance. I've since ordered Infinite Loop by the same author, but haven't started it yet. I loved the characters and was sucked into the story from the opening line (and if you've read it already, you know what I mean *wink wink*). Considering almost the first half of the book takes place in an elevator, with only the two main characters present, I was very impressed by the author's ability to keep my interest. I am one of those readers who tend to skip over things that don't look important, but I read every single word in this one (some parts I read more than once). This is erotica with a bit of kink thrown in for good measure. Excellent read and I can't wait to read more by Meghan O'Brien! Highly recommended!

tension plus fulfilment

This book was finally a lesbian happily ever after. I enjoyed it so much I re-read it two days after I finished it the first time. Just show you that sometime you do meet your mate in the akward places.

Golly this is hot.

This has to be one of the hottest books I have read in a long time. This author constructs the sexiest and hottest sex scenes. The submissive/domme relationships are believable and touching. The author really delves into the complexities of unrestrained trust. I loved this book it is a must read to anyone who wishes to understand what undying love is. Anyone who has ever had a fantasy must definately read this book. I have read and loved Infinate Loop and The Three and while I am hard-pressed to find the best, I think this book may well be it. I needed to take cold showers regularly while reading this novel. Congrats to BSB for signing this author and I am convinced Meghan O'Brien will be around for a long time. Devlyn

Amazingly Hot!

I really enjoyed this book. At first I too thought this book would be all about two woman trapped in an elevator for 13 hours. However, the book actually surprised me with a very good story of what happens once they finally get off the elevator. Great character development with both woman. Each realizing they were completely wrong about their first impressions of each other. Dana comes out of her all work no play persona (she is a nympho) and Laurel is not a really the slutty stripper she was initially believed to be (but she's no nun either) . Each character has to face their insecurities and trust issues and realize that they can have faith, belief and rely on one another. There is a lot of hot steamy sex in this one so be prepared. This book is a great read so sit back and enjoy the lustful ride. Way to go me Meghan.

As only Meghan O'Brien can....

I was first introduced to Meghan O'Brien when I haphazardly purchased Infinite Loop. I was drawn into that story and riveted by the characters O'Brien created. And it is the same for Thirteen Hours. Dana and Laurel are fully developed, three-dimensional characters. I think that's exactly how I see most of O'Brien's work -- character studies. Most of her work doesn't contain highly complex plot lines, but it does involve highly detailed character development. This is something I've always loved. But even more than that, O'Brien can write some steamy erotica. An this is certainly steamy! The book has something for every sexual palate. You're bound to find something between the covers of this book to make your mouth water. Good work, Meghan.
