"Thief" said the cat is an amazing book. Set in a little town, a girl without knowing it becomes a detective. One night when the girl is babysitting there is a break in. The father of the family she is babysitting for is an important lawyer. The family would not mind as much if these thieves were regular thieves, but that is something they are definitely not. How the family knows this is the thieves did not steal a thing, even though there was costly jewelry lying on the table! No, these thieves aren't regular thieves at all; these thieves are after something special. Will the girl or the family she was babysitting for be safe and if they are, how long will they be safe? I recommend this book for anyone who loves cats or has a feel for mystery. This book is suspenseful and has a lot of close calls. And if you like this book I recommend "Blood" said the cat.
