"In God We Trust" is considered the official motto of the United States of America. It's on everything, from money, license plates, to government buildings, we see it everywhere. We hear our leaders recite "God Bless You and God Bless the United States of America" after every speech. America is thought of as one of the greatest places to live, but at the same time America is under attack Not by foreign countries or terrorist as we know it. America has been under attack since the beginning of its existence. The enemy is not seen with the physical eye, but we have witnessed the effects of the enemy throughout history. This enemy that I speak of is a spiritual force that is gaining victory over America because we are so distracted by its traps, lies and deceit. If we don't begin to repair and right the wrongs of broken foundations, "In God We Trust" will become a mockery and just another clich . As a Christian, we are allowing broken foundations to perpetuate the divide and fall of America. We are falling in line with the ways of the world and not setting ourselves apart from the world. We are backed up so far against the wall that we are beginning to look like wallpaper. I believe that once you understand that whatever is happening in the spirit, your eyes will be opened to what is happening in the natural. We have placed God on the back of the bookshelf to collect dust while forgetting that we are all created in His image. I truly feel that if you are only treating the symptoms of a broken foundation and ignore the root of the issue, you are left vulnerable to anything that will work against you. True healing begins by facing the hard truth that we have swept under the rug for far too long. As you begin to dive into these small collections of thoughts, observations, conversations, and revelations of what God has revealed to me through my lens, I pray that you receive it with an open heart. Let's begin to turn our focus back to God and begin a new chapter in America where we really mean "In God We Trust".
