The Train Man

The hum of the long dead engine fills the sky above. Legend tells us that a conductor sits in this train and waits for the time that it will finally reach the earth again. I'm here to be the first to speak to him when that day comes. This story will fund my retirement, but that isn't why I'm here. The strange orbs that have been lost for years within the town are popping up in the hands of a cult. The orbs hold terrible powers and can make any human capable of impossible feats. However, I think some things are best not to be toyed with. People have been slaughtered for this power, and I'm certain that the train man had a hand in all of it. So, I'll be here waiting to catch the moment that this train makes its final stop.
