A good one!

I like Kasey Michaels' books and was pleased to find she had written one of the Fortune books - one of my favorite series. This is a good one - Eden's situation with her son is wholly believable and she is a woman we can admire and feel for. We empathize with her and admire her strength in dealing with the lemons life has thrown at her. The Sheik, being a little arrogant as sheiks are, is a man we come to like and care for as he figures out how and why the disaster between himself and Eden happened, and watch as he works hard to recreate the magic they had between themselves.

A good book

I usually don't care for books with sheikhs in them. This book was different. I really felt for Eden as she tried to reconcile that the father of her son was a ruler of a kingdom. Her life as she knew it was changed for ever. I liked that Ben finally understood at the end that Eden needed time to make the decision to join him. Once the pressure was off Eden was able to decide that the best thing for her and Sawyer was to join Ben and leave Texas.
