Attractive, funny couple with great sexual chemistry

Nick Bateman and Zoë Simmons are great together as a romantic couple. Both are attractive, funny with great sexual chemistry between the two. Nick is Zoë Simmons' boss and she's his secretary. The employer/employee relationship between the two is friendly and neither wanted to ruin the great camaraderie between them. This books starts out with a bang, with Zoë trying to sneak out of the hotel room that she just shared with her boss, Nick. The evening before, Nick had just bailed out of marrying someone else (Believe me the woman deserved it) and ended up in the hotel room being comforted by his ever so efficient secretary, Zoë. He's worried about ruining his friendly relationship with his secretary, but remembers that she did not want any commitment. So why worry.... Yeah Right. Their one night-stand results in Zoë getting pregnant. Zoë is not exactly thrilled about being pregnant, but surprise, surprise Nick is very excited about becoming a father. What follows is a very funny Zoë, trying to figure out this new development between her and Nick. The author, Michelle Celmer is one of my favorite romance writers. Her romance novels never disappoint me. Read this book. It's an intelligent funny story that will keep you turning the pages for more. Definitely a keeper.

Good Story

Good story. Nick and Zoë were both very good charactors, they were likable and they had their flaws. Nick's longing to be married and have the family Nick's never had yet he's all ready aborted two engagements the second being right at the alter. Zoë's his secetary and has worked hard to build a life for herself and after being raised in a large family Zoë's resents the pressures and obligations of being of one. She doesn't want to replace all her hard work with the demands of a family. They have a one night stand and Zoë becomes pregnant. Nick proposes marriage which Zoë nixes because of her independence and not wanting to be married for the sake of a child. They end up compromising on living together before deciding whther or not to marry. It was a very good story. The Hero and Heroine were very strong charactors and it was easy to see where both sides were coming from and I really liked the ending.
