The Presence Based Church

I have been living my life and conducting our ministry life to one end, to know God better. This book articulates our pursuit to a tee. Terry does a fantastic job describing what a church should look like that has a passionate heart for God's presence to be manifest among God's people. Not only in our corporate gatherings but in our everyday lives and in every area of church life. Let's face it, if God doesn't show up, why have a church. Terry also describes the difference between the corporate "Consumer Church" that has people as it's ministry focus compared to a "Mary of Bethany" church that has Jesus as the ministry focus. The book was used as a confirmation from the Lord that as a Presence based church we are moving in the right direction to want to know Him more. Michael C.
