Stephanie Bryant, working for Space Tech, and Brett Lincoln, local police officer face more than the hurrican force winds descending upon them. They must face the emotional hurricane that their meeting does to their belief of what constitutes success and where do relationships fall in place with career goals? Leigh Duncan is a fresh, new voice in sweet romantic fiction. Her characters are likeable and feel very much like this story could easily happen either to you or one of your friends. The character's conflicts and problems are realistic and contemporary. Leigh's description of coastal Florida and the hurricane is so well written I have to believe it was experienced first hand and not just researched. If you're looking for a sweet, enjoyable, fun read that will bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart, don't miss The Officer's Girl.
