Chestnut hill vs. Heartland

Chestnut hill is great but heartland is a little better. Heartland got more susppensful than chestnut hill and thats what i like in a book. It would be great if more heartland books came out and more chestnut hill ones too.

The New Class

This is one of the best books I've ever read.I personally like it a lot better than the Heartland series even though those are good to. I can't wait to read the next one!

The New Class

I loved it. It tied in Amy and Spindle. It was a very well though out book and I enjoyed reading it. The horses all sound beautiful, although did anyone else notice that they were all 14-15 hands and either chestnut or gray? The book is very detailed and fun to read. I'm looking forward to the next ones.

The New Class

About the book- Chestnut Hill is a boarding school for 7-12 grade girls. It lies in the hills of Virgina, close to Lauren Brooke's previous series, Heartland. We are first introduced to a 7th grade girl, Dylan Walsh. She is moving to the boarding school, after years of begging to go to the prestigous school. She meets several other girls while she's there. They all have one common goal: to make the Equestrain riding team. This creates some problems between them, of course. Dlyan is banned from the barn, and she becomes worried about making the team. Dlyan is running out of time. Will she clean up her act in time for the tryouts? Or will her training be a complete waste of time? My opinion- Great new series! Heartland was tied into it, so it was really nice. We got to hear how Amy was doing, and her horse Spindleberry. I think this series will be excellent! So far so good! Another thing I liked was the fact that these books are longer than Heartland. This has about 220 pages (I think) while heartland never reached 200. All the more to love about it! I recommend it to horse lovers, and of course anyone who followed the Heartland series!

Great!

I think the first installment of Chestnut Hill was a fantastic book...although Lauren Brooke is a fantastic writer. I was upset when they ended Heartland but then I read this series and was glad it mixed Heartland in. I thought it was really neat when they talked about Chestnut Hill in the last Heartland book then brought some of Heartland to the first book in Chestnut Hill, excellent and smooth transaction. I am very much anticipating the new Chestnut Hill book. This is definately a must read!
