The story is about a software engineer who specializes in large cloud software.
The programmer has been dreaming, for about 20 years, of writing cloud software with almost unlimited computing resources. The software is capable of analyzing satellite images of the Earth in real time. The software scans the images and tries to find criminal incidents in them and prevent accidents.
The software is built in a modular way. It is named Global Online Defense or GOD.
The software is a huge-scale program. One person cannot write it. It is a collaboration between countries.
The US and Israel are the main players. The software is being developed in cooperation between the two countries.
What happens when the software shows an alert on the Israeli side about a bomb which is about to explode in Jerusalem but is composed of US made components?
