So...you think you might have a problem with selfishness???

Wow! What a great book! Yes, it was written in the 1970's, but the content was strikingly honest, concise and revealing. It clearly lays out what exactly a life looks like that is too self absorbed. Sadly, what is discovered is that in working so hard to be self seeking, one's self destruction is what is found. Health, relationships, success....hardcore selfishness is the enemy and not a positive attribute! So glad that I could still get my own personal copy of the book after reading a friends copy. You will want one to highlight and underline!

The truth does often hurt !

I first read this book in about 1980-81, and I find it an excellent book with the truths of life that no one really wants to face or deal with in their own lives. It is a book that brings true conviction but will truly help all of us to see who is God in our lives, the Lord or ourselves and alas we see to often that it is really us. It is a great self help book to look at some of that and on our own with God face it and change it. It is very well written and easy reading. He did a great job bringing the most important points to light and anyone who reads it will be blessed. Anyone who reads it and let's it minister to them will also be helped.

A dilema explained.

This is a must read for anyone in Recovery, Christian or otherwise.

A classic that is worth reading more than once!

I Have found this book to be excellent for anyone looking for answers to life's greatest mysteries.
