wonderful book

It is a shame there is no picture on this book, the illustrations are very cute. It is a great children's book, which we read over and over again. It is a good, easy read that both parents and kids enjoy, and a MORAL! I am buying another to replace the copy that the kids left in the treehouse (of course it rained that night)

The correct author of this book is Peggy Thomson, not Maynard. Peggy Thomson is also the author, with illustrator James Warhola, or The Brave Little Tailor, and The Tinderbox, both of which are incorrectly listed as Maynard.
