"Humanism is a view of the world, of each person's relation to other people, of the unity of humanity, of its place in the whole fabric of life against the background of our planet and our universe,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Like other books on Humanism that I have read recently, this book focuses on the history of the movement with particular attention to those events experienced by the author. The author promotes Ethical Culture and Humanism but his background leans toward the former. As the focus is on the history, the coverage of the beliefs is a bit vague. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the history of Ethical Culture or Humanism as a religion.
