My whole life I've loved telling stories. I was always able to express in words the sorrow, elation, humor or absolute astonishment of some event that made people have interest In my yarns. But all of my stories have been verbal until now. I've put down a select collection of stories in my life's journey that defines me and probably is the start of any therapy session that I might need in the future. As a young man I've been thrust into situations that I didn't want to be in. I didn't want to babysit for the Catholic family who had 12 children. I didn't want to work in hell's kitchen. I didn't want to be chased out of a house by an angry father of a girlfriend. I played chess with a boss for my life in railroad construction and I had my chance at being a real hero in the Chicago railyards. Those are some of the stories that I wrote in this book and there are more. I hope you enjoy them because I certainly did.
