Three thousand years ago, the gods died.
Or most of them did.
Oryn Vale is a grave-digger's apprentice in the town of Fellmere when the soil begins to speak his name. Not the wind. Not imagination. Something vast and shattered and impossibly patient - pressed into the bedrock of the basin for three millennia - has finally found a listener it recognizes.
The Hollow God is not dead. It is distributed: broken into fragments across seventeen cities and four regions, held in geological stasis by a containment architecture no living person was supposed to dismantle.
Someone is dismantling it anyway. Fragment by fragment, piece by divine piece, an organization called the Consortium has been harvesting what they believe is an ancient power source. What they are actually doing is waking something up.
And now the god has found someone who can hear it - and someone it can choose.
The Hollow God is a slow-burning dark fantasy about what it means when something sacred refuses to stay buried - and what it costs the person who agrees to carry it. A story not of possession, but of covenant: the ancient and the ordinary, choosing each other across three thousand years of silence.
