Older, but good Magic reference for beginners

I was fortunate to find this title at my local library. Printed in May of 1981 the illustrations are not up to par with the Magic books that are available today, but the instructions and glossary provide what is needed for aspiring magicians. Overall, this text is comparable to Mark Wilson's Magic book.... though does not include some more sophisticated illusions. Being a Magical hobbiest for 37 years... I still found going though this book enjoyable.
