The Eighth Seat: A Memoir of Murder

By M K Harrow

The Eighth Seat is a novel of memory, guilt, and the stories we edit to survive our own crimes.

Nine guests. One island. A memoir written in blood.

Reclusive billionaire Adrian Vane summons eight people to Blackreef Island for the reading of his final memoir. But the pages aren't his.

Each chapter is a confession-stolen from the guests he destroyed. When the first body falls with a page from the manuscript in his throat, editor Sloane Rourke realizes the rules: confess your sin, or become the next chapter.

Sloane has a secret. Twenty years ago, Adrian told her she killed her sister. He made her forget. He made her his editor. He made her complicit.

Now her brother is back from the dead. The last chair at the table is hers. And the only way out is to finish the book.

Someone will kill to finish it.
Someone will die to end it.
And someone is still writing.

A dark, twisting locked-room thriller for fans of Lucy Foley, Gillian Flynn, and Agatha Christie.

Don't sit in the eighth seat.
