The 3 boys in the family know something is different about this dollhouse which they are tempted to ignore this Christmas as they are getting older. The dollhouse family comes alive when no one is around and sees burglars "casing the joint" getting ready to burgle the house. How the boys and the dh family save the day is heartwarming! My kids, forever after, stuck a male doll headfirst in the toilet in MY dollhouse just like the boy in the story did with the father doll! Everyone should read the book!!
