A delicious read .............

The Ramirez Brides Trilogy Brazilian polo player, Enrique Ramirez had sown a lot of oats in his youth. Ms. Marton's heroes are most definitely alpha, and Jake fits that bill. Catarina is naïve to the ways of the world, but she is not a silly girl. She has spirit and some ideas of her own. The sparks fly from their first meeting. It was delicious reading how Catarina slips into Jake's heart. The final scenes that tie up this trilogy are also very well done. The Ramirez Brides trilogy.. I enjoyed very much reading their journeys of self-discovery and their HEAs.

Final Book in the Ramirez Series

Jake Ramirez finds out that his real father was not some young soldier heroically killed in a war like his mother told him, but was in fact a rich playboy, Enrique Ramirez. Now in his will, his real father informs him that he has two half brothers and that in order to meet them, he must travel to Brazil and take his ward, Catarina "Cat" from the convent she has lived in until her 21st birthday and find her a suitable Brazilian within 2 months. After he has completed this mission, he will be given his brother's identity. Jake is stunned to find his new ward, Cat to be a beautiful if naive young woman. Soon he is fighting feelings for Cat because he knows he has to find her a husband, the trouble is he wants to be that husband. Sheltered Cat longs for her independence, she wants Jake to teach her the secrets of sex so that she can use it to gain her independence, the trouble is she wants it to be real. This was a nice book, but so much seemed unreal. In this day and age it is hard to believe that a woman would be kept in a convent that long against her wishes and be that naive even if it is in South America. Also, I kind of wished more time would have been devoted to the end for the brothers to interact instead of a couple of pages....otherwise nice story.

I love a kind of love story involving a guardian. This romance made me smile all day and night long while i'm reading and imagining. You Gotta buy this book. this is a keeper!!!!

Another Wonderful and Incredible Sandra Marton Love Story

The Disobedient Virgin is probably one of the most tender love stories I've read by Sandra Marton. She's written so many, but this one especially touched my heart. This book is part of the Ramirez Bride series and the final in that series. What I think is so incredible is that Harlequin chose three authors from three continents.....Sandra Marton (US), Emma Darcy (Australia) and Michelle Reid (UK). This series is about three half brothers scattered to opposite sides of the globe; each must find a bride in order to find each other. Jake Ramirez has just found himself in a real predicament. He's become a guardian to Catarina, a young woman he's never met and she lives in Brazil. He's also received the news that the father he believed to have died as a soldier and hero was not his father at all. That his biological father was a wealthy Brazilian who recently died and he has two half brothers he didn't know existed. In order to meet these half brothers he must become Cat's guardian and marry her off in order to gain his brother's names. Cat is a sweet, innocent orphaned girl who is just waiting to turn of age so she can escape the Convent and experience life. Little does she know that her life will change when Jake enters the picture and whisks her away to New York. Jake is strong, handsome, rich and sexy and a very powerful businessman. His youth was not one to be proud of growing up in the streets of New York, find a little trouble but turning his life around and making himself one of the most powerful and sought after bachelors in New York. From the moment they meet, anger and sparks fly, plus a tension neither of them understands. Their journey together will melt your heart.
