Fascinating, informative, and beautiful pictures

If I never touch a gourd - this book is lovely to read. I do however plan to try my hand at this craft and feel I have the best instructions available. The supply section lists where the gourds, toold, dyes, etc. can be obtained. I have a huge craft book collection - and this is a superior one!

Great detail in the how-tos of Gourd Crafting.

The book is fantastic. It has lots of photos and lots of step by step instructions for creating a gourd art piece. The photos in the book are very well done and there are lots of colored photos. I have had The Complet Book of Gourd Craft since it first hit the market. It is always close at hand and used as a reference.It is the best money I have spent on a gourd book.

excelent pictures,fine information,completely enjoyable

As an avid gardener and reader, I found lots of information about what to do with my gourds (first how to dry them), it had fine pictures of what others have done, and projects that look easy to do while being worth while. The book gives a history of gourds. Where to get diverse seeds, and contacts for others interested in gourds (ie the gourd soiety). I've been tickled to share this book with friends, all have thought it wonderful.
