Not a guide for health, but a history on sugar in the nutrition industry.

I was hoping to read this to learn why sugar is so bad for me and what steps I should take to improve my diet. Unfortunately this book is nearly 300 pages on the fight between researchers arguing their case for sugar. It's an impressive amount of detail and research on the history but fails to provide any real advice/evidence for those of us looking to improve our lives.

Sugary become surgery!

This is a powerful book against sugar. He asks the question that sugar is drug or food. In the following chapters, he explains in great detail history of sugar and how it impacts the body and organs, especially diabetes. He also exposed how sugar industry protects and manipulates reports in bad science. Sugar is the root cause of obesity, diabetes and heart disease. This book opens consumers eye to understand the sugar loaded processed food heavily pushed to get hook on. Consumers will pay a high price later in life in terms of health, diseases and medicine dependent. This book is to educate consumers that knowledge is power.
