The 12th Book in the Series

Book 12, "The Cards" is the last book in the Forbidden Doors series. After 12 books, I will truly miss Becka, Scott, Ryan, Mom, and Susan. In this particular book, Philip turns to a card reader (fortune teller) to help him solve his problems and try to figure out his future. But will Becka and Scott convince him to turn to Jesus instead? They use some powerful and awesome Bible verses for backup. These Bible verses are really encouraging and joyful. Is the card reader a shady person? Or just mysterious? You will find out. I think I found a flaw (but not enough to take away a star). I've never lived in California, but do people really have to wait until they are 18 before they decide which divorced parent they want to live with? At 18, they don't have to live with either parent. In all the states I'm familiar with, the children get to choose which parent they prefer to live with long before they are 18. But anyway, I found this interesting, but not very important. In this awesome series, Becka and Scott (with Z's help) performed spiritual warfare and helped many people out of the darkness. In most of the books, they stayed in Crescent Bay, California. But in four of the books, they journeyed to Louisiana, Transylvania, Los Angeles, and New Mexico to fight the evil/dark powers. I enjoyed the whole series. I gave 5 stars to each book, except for "The Undead" - the book with all the vampires and the movie-making. Even though I don't care for vampires, I could have tolerated them if it weren't for the movie-making. I despise movies - both watching them and listening to people rehearse their lines. This book had line rehearsing. This was an awesome and encouraging series, and I deeply recommend it to any Christian.

Suggest to any kids to read

This is a series that is loved by my child, along with many others in the same grade. It would be loved by preteens and teens a like.
