" Joy" for the 21rst Century

I love The Book of Love by Laura Berman because it is really the book of Love and Sex and how the two are connected. Dr. Berman writes with such grace and intelligence and her real subject is intimacy. She teaches us how to achieve it and how to sustain it with so many useful tips about how to truly connect with your partner. The gorgeous photos are quite inspiring and are works of art in and of themselves. This is "The Joy of Sex" for the 21rst century. (I can now retire my dog-eared copy filched from my parent's bookshelf in the 70's!) Thank you, Dr. Berman!

Great Book

I really loved this book! It is written in a very non-judgemental way, which i found very comforting. The tips were useful and fun. My husband and i enjoyed our " homework". I highly recommend this book and in fact, i have given it as gifts to all my girlfriends who are having special birthdays!!

perfect gift

My husband gave this to me a couple of months ago for Valetine's Day. I teased him that I can't believe we need to use a sex book after 20 years of marriage, but I finally put my feelings aside and gave it a shot. I am so glad I did. While our sex life has always been 'just okay', I think we both wanted more....especially him! I was happy to see that the pitcures were realistic and beautiful, rather than pornographic, and the tips & stories inside really helped me to 'get out of my head' and start enjoying sex more. I loved it so much I bought a copy for my best friend, and let's just say her husband owes me one!

I would highly recommend this book! It is an inspirational and completely helpful guide for keeping the love alive.
