The Best Edition !!!

This is the Fourth Edition of Cagle Books I have purchased. This one in my Humble Opinion is the Best yet, and that is Due to amount of Cartoons included herein. This one has more cartoons per page than the 2005-2007 Editions and contains a few more pages as well. Hundreds of Top Political Cartoonists are featured, and Subjects like The Iraq War are right here next to Paris Hilton and O.J. Simpson. If you have an interest in the Issues of the Day and enjoy Great Cartoons. This Book should be a part of your Library..This is an Excellent Purchase...Five Stars !!!

my anual feast

This book is published once a year and gives the best editorial cartoons. There is only one negative point.. the lay-out is a bit unpleasant because sometimes there are to many cartoons on one page.. also some are published too small for no reason. Another thing .. mr Daryl Cagle puts his cartoons up front too much.. His are not always the best mind you.. But it is a very nice contribution to my editorial cartoons collection for sure..

I Love This New Book!

My copy came in the mail yesterday and I think the book is just great. I didn't realize there were so many cartoonists out there! I just wish I could have gotten a copy before Christmas because I would have given them out as presents....so next year try and print them earlier!!! LOVE the book!...the Slate site too!

Finally something to get your hands on!

I've been a fond reader of Daryl Cagle's website for a long time. It has brightened my day and gave me a smile or a thought to ponder when nothing else could. Political cartoons are an important commentary on our society. They don't always need to be funny, they sometimes just make you think and reflect upon current affairs. They are an easy way to introduce people to the news in an entertaining way and make them keep up with them. Not currently residing in the States I know I've often found myself research on affairs mentioned in the cartoons, things that don't always make the world news. This book will be a wonderful collection of the cartoons I have enjoyed over the past year and it will always make me remember what things used to rock the world in the year 2004! Get it for your kids and talk with them about the events depicted there! Show it to your friends who never seem to be interested in the news, they will love it! Or just get it for yourself and have a great time enjoying a collection of so many talented cartoonists. All in one book! I can't wait!
